A Celebration of Life service
is a story of love
There are few other stories I get to write that are filled with so many layers of love. From those who were intimately connected to the one who has passed on, to those whose lives were effected by their presence.
A funeral can so often be a simple recitation of names and dates mixed with a few religious readings.
A celebration of life is so much more...
it is an honoring that pulls at the heartstrings, and yes, evokes tears, but also incites laughter and smiles as those who were touched by this life are filled with wonderful memories, and others get the opportunity to learn even more than they ever thought they knew.

Why Have a
Celebration of Life ?
No one doubts that all lives will eventually end. However, it’s nice to know that every life is significant and should be celebrated. Getting together with friends and loved ones of the deceased adds purpose and meaning to the time they had with him or her. It allows everyone to share meaningful experiences and know that they’re not the only ones who cared about the person.
